Italian Pizza

The real recipe of the pizza dough. Thank you to our three Italians friends!

Pizza dough for 5 people

Ingredients :

  • 250ml of milk
  • 250ml of water
  • 2 kg of wheat flour
  • Half a cup of sunflower oil
  • 25g of hard yeast or 3 tablespoons of powder yeast
  • 2 pinches of salt

Preparation :

  • Heat up the milk and water together (set over medium heat)
  • Add the yeast into the mix milk/water
  • Sift together flour, milk/water/yeast and start kneading
  • While kneading the dough, add salt and then half a cup of oil
  • Knead until the dough gets firm
  • Put the dough into a big plate and draw a cross on the top with a knife in order to let it rise
  • Cover it up with a tea towel
  • Leave it rise over the night

The next day, prepare the filing

Some suggestions made by our Italian mates but then it is really up to your taste

Pizza prosciutto e formaggio

  • Tomato sauce for the base
  • Ham
  • Oignon
  • Cheese

Pizza tonno e cipolla

  • Tuna
  • Oignon
  • Olive oil

Focaccia cipolla e salsiccia

  • Sausage
  • Oignon
  • Cheese
